Payments and Workmanship Warranty Policy

  • The following services are covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty from the date of service completion:

    • Ceiling fan installation and replacement

    • Light fixture installation and replacement

    • Interior and exterior lighting installations

    • Minor electrical fixture mounting and assembly performed by VCFI Household Solutions

    If an issue arises due to our workmanship within the 90-day warranty period, we will return to inspect and correct the issue at no additional labor charge.

  • The following services are covered by a 60-day workmanship warranty from the date of service completion:

    • Blind installation

    • Storm door installation

    • Screen door installation

    • Hardware installation (door handles, locks, towel bars, etc.)

    • Shelving and wall-mounted accessory installation

    • General handyman repairs and maintenance services

    If a workmanship-related issue occurs within 60 days, we will return and make necessary corrections at no additional labor charge.

  • This warranty covers labor and workmanship only and does not cover:

    • Manufacturer defects or product failures

    • Materials supplied by the customer

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, weather events, or acts of nature

    • Existing structural, electrical, plumbing, moisture, or foundation issues

    • Damage resulting from modifications or repairs made by others after our work is completed

  • After the applicable warranty period has expired, any requested return visit will be subject to VCFI Household Solutions' current service call and labor rates, regardless of whether the issue is related to the original service.

    Warranty Claim Process

    To request warranty service, customers must:

    1. Contact VCFI Household Solutions within the applicable warranty period.

    2. Provide a description of the issue.

    3. Allow VCFI Household Solutions reasonable access to inspect the work.

    VCFI Household Solutions reserves the right to determine whether the issue is covered under this workmanship warranty

  • Our goal is complete customer satisfaction. We take pride in our work and will make every reasonable effort to address legitimate workmanship concerns promptly and professionally.

  • A service call fee may apply for inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, or travel to the property. This fee covers time, travel, and professional assessment. If repairs are approved, the fee may be applied toward the final cost depending on the job.

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless another agreement has been made in writing before the job begins. We accept Cash App, Zelle, cash, and other approved payment methods.

  • Customer-supplied materials are the customer’s responsibility. If VCFI Household Solutions LLC is asked to purchase materials, material costs must be paid upfront before materials are purchased.

    We are not responsible for defective, missing, incorrect, or damaged customer-supplied items.

    That covers stuff like Amazon ceiling fans, lights, faucets, vanities, etc.

  • If a customer provides a product, fixture, fan, faucet, light, lock, or other item, VCFI Household Solutions LLC is only responsible for the labor performed. Defective products must be handled through the store, seller, or manufacturer. Return visits caused by defective customer-supplied products are billed as a new service call.

  • Labor is covered for 30 days from the date of completion. This warranty only covers issues directly caused by the original workmanship. It does not cover product defects, customer damage, normal wear and tear, misuse, loose or broken parts after use, or issues caused by other people working on the item.

  • Return visits are only free if the issue is directly related to our workmanship and is reported within the warranty period. Any unrelated issue, product defect, customer-caused damage, or request made after the warranty period will be billed as a new service call.

  • Deposits: Larger jobs may require a deposit before work begins. Deposits help secure scheduling, cover preparation, and purchase materials. Deposits are non-refundable once materials are purchased or the job has been scheduled and prepared for.

    Small jobs: payment after completion

    Medium jobs: 30%–50% deposit

    Large jobs: deposit + progress payment + final payment

    Additional Work: 

    Any work not included in the original quote will be priced separately. Additional work must be approved before being completed. Verbal requests, added tasks, or changes to the original scope may increase the final price.

  • Please be available at the scheduled appointment time. Missed appointments, last-minute cancellations, or delays may result in a service fee or rescheduling fee.

    If we arrive and cannot access the property, a trip fee may still apply.

  • We appreciate support from family and friends. To keep business fair and professional, all jobs are priced based on time, labor, materials, and scope of work.

  • Before and after photos may be taken for records, quality control, and proof of completed work. Customer personal information and private areas will be respected.

  • Some electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, or permit-required work may need a licensed contractor or city approval. If a job is outside our allowed scope, we will let the customer know before moving forward.
